  • 201. Where Are We Now?
We’re back! After a long absence, we return with a special episode, designed to keep you up to date with some of your favourite stars from seasons we’ve covered over the history of BoH! We answer all your big questions such as who’s gotten married, who’s split up, and who’s still promoting some kind of weird weight loss solution on Instagram years after their 15 minutes on TV? (trick question - the answer is ‘everyone’)Plus, a brief debrief on MAFS, some Golden Bachelor AU news, and a revolutionary new handshake technique. It’s good to be back!Who did we miss? Let us know on socials @bohpod <3Grab tickets for the Max Quinn 24/04 OAF show here!

  • 200. The Two Hundredth One (Golden Bachelorette S1 E9)
We made it - both to the end of another season of The Golden Bachelorette and to the beginning of another hundo! Despite another perfectly-fine-but-not-particularly-inspiring episode, we're celebrating in style. Is Guy a horse? Hear how Joan's season wraps up (you'll never guess!) and also hear us eating a bunch of golden treats on microphone! Sorry! Thanks to all of you for making the past 200 episodes so special. We'll be back soon! Until then - find us on Instagram and Bachelor of Hearts Oshposting, and if you'd like to support the show in a money way, our Patreon.

  • 199. Did This Help? (Golden Bachelorette S1 E8)
We’re licking our wounds this week after a brutal few days in world history, and a Golden Bachelorette: The Men Tell All special that somehow isn’t able to offer any real solutions. But did it help? We’re here to discuss the silver (or is that golden?) linings in this insubstantial but inoffensive hour of TV: for one, it’s nice to see our friends the Mansion Men again and tap our toes to their jaunty tune. Jesse Palmer (a Canadian!) has a good night as host (especially when he’s not talking to Charles L.) And hey - everyone gets a something-burger. That’s not nothing-burger!

  • 198. An ATV Would Fix Me (Golden Bachelorette S1 E7)
This week, Joan and her Final Three are treated to a trip to Tahiti, where Joan is faced with a tough decision (which ultimately gets made for her). As we lurch towards the finish line, we discuss the hypothetical possibility of a Golden Who Fucks, and dive deep into the way Tahiti is represented, as well as the effect it has on an older Frenchman. Plus, some hard-hitting US election coverage (😬), some facts and knowledge about the Los Angeles football Rams, and a great many boats. I gotta be honest folks - I got 95% of the way through editing this one and then they called the election. The vibes are not good. I hope you’re all doing okay. Take it easy. We love you.

  • 197. Hometown Halloween (Golden Bachelorette S1 E5-6)
Happy Hawktuber 31st!!! It's time once again for our annual Halloween episode - this time, we're covering two horrifying episodes Drac-to-Drac, because is there anything scarier than trying to summarise and discuss two feature-length episodes of TV in one go?? Oh yeah - spiders. They're scary as hell. Please support the show on Patreon if you can & would like to, and find us on socials @bohpod / Bachelor of Hearts Oshposting! A dock is an enclosed area for loading and unloading ships. It extends along the shoreline. This one can sometimes also be used to encompass the other four, though. A wharf runs parallel to shore, not out into the water, and is built on piles, which are basically long pillars driven into the ground. They often are placed where the soil is too loose to build directly. A pier is like a wharf, but extends out into the water. These are pretty common for boat ramps and public parks and such. A quay is similar to a wharf, running along the shoreline, but is built on fill, which is literally filling material. In other words, it rests directly on the ground, which is filled in around it. Finally, a jetty is a pier that is built on fill. It runs out into the water, but there's no space underneath it. It rests on filled earth.
