  • It's All In Our Head
Episode 99: What Are You Declaring? 🧠✨ In this episode, we’re diving into Chapter 3 of You Are the Placebo: Making Your Mind Matter by Dr. Joe Dispenza, where we explore the placebo effect in the brain. We touch on three key elements: Conditioning Expectation Meaning (Our main focus) 💡 Key Points: Are you doing things just to do them, or is there meaning behind your actions? How is your brain processing all the data from your life experiences? What are you declaring when you say, “I am…”? We also reflect on the power of meaning in our lives and how it shapes our reality. 📖 Who Gon’ Check Me Boo? God Is: This week’s scripture is Acts 20:24, reminding us of the importance of finishing the race God has set for us, no matter the obstacles. Quote of the Episode: "Most of us have been conditioned to run from the unknown, so now we have to learn to become comfortable in the void or the unknown, instead of fearing it." ✨ On our social media, we discussed the concept of Crossing The River of Change (pg. 64-65) and how transformation is often uncomfortable but essential. 📱 Follow Us On: Instagram: @thesadehill TikTok: @thecrewbookclubpodcast Subscribe on YouTube: The Crew Book Club Podcast 🎙 BetterHelp Ad: Need extra support? • Get Our Minds Right!
Book: You Are the Placebo Making your mind matter Author: Dr. Joe Dispenza   Who Gon Check Me Boo? God Is! ISAIAH 8:14 He will be a holy place; for both Israel and Judah he will be a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall.   “Bible Ref”: God's truth cannot be denied, any more than a person can walk through a boulder. For those who reject Him, God becomes a "stumbling rock." He's something they cannot help but trip over. Everyone who tries to succeed and thrive apart from the Lord eventually falls and does not prosper.   POINTS: When stuck in a situation A Radical Decision When The Change Happens   ASK YOURSELF? Who am I? What is the meaning of this life? What am I doing here? What’s my purpose in this season? What or who is God to me?   QUOTE: By changing your internal state, you can change your external reality.   BETTER HELP AD:     It’s affordable and convenient, don’t forget Crew, I’ve partnered up with Better Help and a special offer to The Crew Book Club Podcast listeners, you can get 10% off your first month of professional therapy at BetterHelp.com/CrewLove.

  • Your Life Is Your Brand
Who Gon’ Check Me Boo? God Is!   Colossians 3:2-4 Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.   Let's Talk About It: 1️⃣ Core Values - Understanding your core values that align with God and how they can be situational values that pertain to certain situations in your life.   Power Moves: pg. 38 "The first step to forming either set of values is releasing your clench on what you thought had value and opening your heart to the values that God desires you now have." 2️⃣System update - Sis you may be due for an update; listen to how you may need to turn off and reboot for a software update. What app; aka what people or things you need to delete for your update?  Power Moves: pg.52 "This is your opportunity to examine the system that has made it easier to disappoint yourself rather than others."   3️⃣ Brand partnerships - Girl, who you partner with matters. Are you jumping too far into relationships without qualifying who has access to your life?  Power Moves: pg. 131 "Part of the reason we struggle with truly maximizing the beauty of partnership and relationships is that we spend too much time filling a void instead of qualifying the material that we're using."    Highlighted Quote: Power Moves: pg. 44 "Your systems are wired in your brain, but your core values exist in your heart. Without the proper system in place, what's in our heart won't show up in our actions." About The Crew Book Club

I was inspired to start this book club because I became a reader of books that inspired and motivated me. And I couldn't wait to share my ah-ha moments with my crew. What I realized is everyone doesn't have time to read the entire book, so I read them and you get the benefit of getting the keynotes to inspire, motivate and challenge you. And for the person who does read the entire book or listen to it on audio; you can tune in to get a different perspective on how I recieved and used the information. Come hang with "The Crew" to get advice, ask questions, and gain knowledge while hearing about dope books.
