    Toxic Motivation

    1/23/2026 | 43 mins.
Clubbers, it's January, which means it's dark, cold and long! So we decided to gift you a few of our favourite episodes from the archives - to hopefully help brighten your mood and inspire you to look after yourself.

    Enjoy x

In this episode, we’re challenging rise and grind culture and the myth of "non-stop productivity" by exploring the impact of toxic motivation on our mental health, relationships, and self-worth. We dive into the pressure to constantly hustle and level up, questioning whether the pursuit of success is really worth sacrificing our well-being.

Are we truly doing better, or are we just exhausted? We’ll examine the harmful effects of the "do more, be more" narrative that’s often perpetuated on social media, in the workplace, and in our inboxes. Is the hustle helping us thrive, or just pushing us toward burnout?

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by the need to always be improving, this episode is for you. We’ll discuss how to find a healthier, more sustainable approach to motivation—one that doesn’t leave us drained, disconnected, or disillusioned.

Tune in for practical insights on how to set boundaries, embrace rest, and redefine success on your own terms. If this resonates with you, share it with a friend who might need to hear it too!

    In this episode we discuss:

    The myth of "non-stop productivity"

The dangers of toxic motivation and comparison culture

How hustle culture impacts mental health and well-being

Finding a sustainable approach to motivation

    Redefining success without burnout

This week on the show the ladies explore Mel Robbins "Let them" theory mindset hack. With over 20 million views, 1.5 million likes, and tens of thousands of comments - it had to be something we checked out.

Mel Robbins says “So much time and energy is wasted on forcing other people to match our expectations. So instead of attempting to control people or circumstances, you allow things to be as they are, rather than letting this stuff control you”

Tune in to see how Lauren and Nicole get on with this revolutionary practice.

Gratitude Mini Series - Part 3

    1/19/2026 | 45 mins.
    Internal Gratitude

Welcome to the third and final episode of our gratitude mini-series, where we turn the spotlight inward and explore a practice that feels surprisingly uncomfortable for a lot of us: internal gratitude. This is about learning to appreciate yourself - not just your life. Most of us were never taught how to do this. We’re brilliant at acknowledging everyone else, but not so good when it comes to recognising our own effort, resilience, and growth.

In this episode, we talk about why internal gratitude matters - especially in midlife - when so many women are quietly holding everything together. We dig into:

Effort Gratitude (not outcome gratitude): recognising where you showed up, kept going, and didn’t quit - even when no one was watching.

Body Gratitude : gently acknowledging what your body has carried you through, frustrations and all.

Younger Self Gratitude: thanking past versions of yourself for surviving, leaving, starting, or setting boundaries.

Values Gratitude: honouring the values you live by

“No One Clapped” Gratitude: naming the invisible labour you do every day that rarely gets acknowledged.

This episode is for anyone who struggles with self-worth, feels quietly exhausted, or needs permission to say: I see what I do. And it matters.

Gratitude Mini Series - Part 2

    1/12/2026 | 42 mins.
Gratitude sounds simple… but does it actually work in practise?

In part two of our gratitude mini-series, we move beyond the theory and into real life.

This week we tried three simple gratitude practices:

    The Gratitude Walk,

    The One-Text Challenge,

    The Gratitude Swap

To see what genuinely helped, what felt extremely awkward, what surprised us and which ones we just didn't do!
