Recruiting Report: The latest with 2027 prospects and OU

Lathan Whisenton is a running back from Waco (TX) Midway High School and the Sooners were in on him early. Now all the big boys are involved. Oklahoma adds a 2026 receiver and is still looking for more.
Even though Oklahoma lost on the field this weekend, it didn't affect the decision of Bear (Del.) Appoquinimink wide receiver offer Jahsiear Rogers. The former Penn State commitment flipped to Oklahoma earlier this morning. Josh McCuistion is here to tell us what the Sooners are getting in Rogers. And Josh says the Sooners might not be done with 2026 players at that position.
