And while Brent Venables is taking over the defensive play-calling duties, key additions in Nate Dreiling and Wes Goodwin free up the head coach and double down on the heart of his defense at the linebacker and cheetah positions. What we learned from postgame interviews after the Crimson Combine
The Crimson Combine was a stripped down version of a spring game. And we understand how some fans felt let down by the spring finale. But for us, we found the postgame press conferences the best part. As we got to hear from Brent Venables for the first time since the start of spring practice and we heard from offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle for the first time in a media setting since he joined Oklahoma football. And we are impressed with what we heard after it was all over.
