    8.4 Solarpunk Presents: Lunarpunk Conversations

    05/26/2026 | 52 mins.
This episode, Ariel questions Aleya about lunarpunk, how she got into it, why it attracts her, and even some things that she doesn't like about it. Aleya then turns the interview around to ask Ariel about solarpunk, how she got involved, and its application in her everyday life. This episode also serves to announce changes at Solarpunk Presents; Christina has stepped back for personal reasons, and Aleya is stepping forward into the role of cohost, and we're pretty excited about it.

DIY Virtuality with 'Albi' Albrecht Ihlenburg and Aleya

    05/21/2026 | 1h 22 mins.
This episode of DIY Virtuality has me talking couchsurfing, workaway, travel, hitchiking and alternative currencies with Albi or Albrecht Ihlenburg or Rumkommen, a former couchsurfer of mine! We also have a song together where he made the track on his own, I found it, asked permission, and made “Hammerhead” from the album “Seeker” and also on “Seekers of Utopia” the expanded album. Audio crackling due to unsteady signal, working on it.

DIY Virtuality with Elina Street and Aleya

    05/19/2026 | 50 mins.
This is a type of podcast I do with people from my past about sustainability, life, effective activism and a principled life, friendship and our past.
With Elina Street, I catch up with this old friend from my adolescence in France. Elina Street is a director who has filmed an interview with Celine Dion! She has also done great work to co-create The Lesbian Bar project and we touch on that topic in this chat!

About Solarpunk Presents
Solarpunk Presents is a podcast that explores the people and projects working on bringing us a better world today.Solarpunk is more than just an idea, more than just an aesthetic. Those inspire us, but where do we go from there? How do we put the values and visions described in solarpunk fiction and art into action in the here and now? What does that look like, translated into the reality of our present moment, into the places and spaces where we’re at? Hosts Ariel Kroon and Christina De La Rocha are producing podcast episodes featuring interviews with people working to make the world a better place right now, as well as discussions of solarpunk, DIY, aesthetic, housing, and more. Join us as we explore what #solarpunk looks like in the present.Aleya Jobson of fastfrwrd.info is currently hosting a series with us sharing her Carbon Neutral Strike updates (that has been ongoing since April 22, 2025!) and reflecting on the ways in which oppressive systems conspire to prevent us from living our best solarpunk lives, prioritizing people and planet over profit.Website: https://www.solarpunkpresents.comMastodon: https://climatejustice.social/@solarpunkpresents Hosted on Acast.
