  • The power of prevention: Meredith Gold on changing the domestic violence narrative.
    Today we’re getting under the hood with Meredith Gold a mother, daughter, sister, friend, women’s advocate and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities.   From 2006-2023, Meredith worked full-time at YWCA Greenwich Domestic Abuse Services where she served as the Director for 7 years. In addition to working directly with trauma survivors, Meredith regularly presents on various topics for community events and parent groups. She delivers trainings to professionals in various fields including family law attorneys, public and private school educators, medical and behavioral health providers, community workers among others.Meredith also consults with service providers and private organizations about workplace issues related to harassment and domestic violence.Prior to her work in the field of domestic violence, Meredith coordinated a mentoring program for children whose parents were incarcerated.
