Showtime. All the Time - Episode 11: Celebrating One Year at the Henrico Sports & Events Center
To celebrate the first year of activities at the Henrico Sports & Events Center, Dennis takes the podcast on the road to the facility, where he visits with some of the people who helped make the past year so successful. H.E.A.R.T. is offering a pilot drop-off composting program for county residents. This program will reduce the amount of solid waste in landfills and provide useful materials for landscaping and agriculture. From November 1 – 8 the county will be holding a Pumpkin Composting Kickoff Event at both Henrico County Public Use Areas. Beginning November 9, compostable food waste can be dropped off at these same locations.
