002 Everyday Exorcist: Be Healed in Jesus' Name
What do you do when you are praying for a back to be healed and a demon manifests?
What steps do you take when you realize the person you are praying for experienced a traumatic accident around their neck injury?
As believers and followers of Jesus, one of the commissions Jesus gave us is to heal the sick. If it were as simple as "Be healed in Jesus' Name," then the whole church would walk in this gift confidently, but we know that's not true.
In this episode, Grant and Kat talk about the Biblical model for healing today. Following the steps Jesus took in his ministry, they discuss the 5-step prayer model and unpack the importance and nuances of each step when you are praying for healing for those who are in need.

Visit EverydayExorcist.com to share your questions and stories - In this episode of Everyday Exorcist, Grant and Kat continue their series on common demonic strongholds by tackling one of the most subtle and destructive of them all: control.
In previous episodes, they explored fear and lust. Today, they uncover how control quietly takes root in people's lives and often disguises itself as responsibility, success, perfectionism, people-pleasing, OCD, eating disorders, passive aggression, and even strong leadership. What begins as a desire for safety, stability, or peace in a chaotic environment can eventually become a prison that damages relationships, hinders intimacy with God, and leaves people exhausted trying to manage every outcome.
Drawing from years of ministry experience, Grant and Kat discuss how control frequently originates in childhood wounds, trauma, or environments where individuals learned to rely on themselves rather than trust others. They explore the spiritual and emotional dynamics behind this stronghold, why it can be so difficult to recognize in ourselves, and how the enemy uses it to keep people trapped in cycles of anxiety, striving, and isolation.
The conversation also dives into the relationship between inner healing and deliverance, the role of the Holy Spirit in uncovering root issues, the physical and emotional manifestations of control, and why true freedom often requires patience, surrender, and a willingness to revisit painful places with Jesus. They discuss the challenges of ministering to those caught in deep patterns of control and why healing cannot be forced but must be welcomed.
Ultimately, this episode is an invitation to lay down the burden of managing everything ourselves. As believers, we were never meant to carry the weight of control. True peace is not found in controlling our circumstances but in trusting the One who holds all things together. When we surrender our need to control and yield to Jesus, we discover the refuge, freedom, and shalom our souls have been longing for all along. 038 Doctrine of Demons (Part 3): The Dangerous Lie Christians Believe About Sin
06/12/2026 | 1h 10 mins. Most Christians unknowingly wrestle with the belief that they'll always struggle with sin. That victory is impossible and defeat is inevitable. But what if that belief isn't biblical at all?
In this episode of Everyday Exorcist, Grant and Kat expose one of the most common lies believers partner with: "I'll never be free from sin." Together, they unpack how this mindset can become a spiritual stronghold, keeping Christians trapped in shame, condemnation, and cycles of defeat.
Scripture teaches that through the cross, Jesus not only forgave sin. He broke its power. Your old self was crucified with Christ, and your identity is no longer that of a sinner striving for victory, but a redeemed son or daughter living from victory. Grant and Kat explore what it means to be a new creation, how to renew your mind with the truth of the Gospel, and why believers are called to put sin to death through the power of the Holy Spirit.
If you're tired of the shame cycle, struggling with recurring sin, or wondering whether lasting freedom is really possible, this episode will challenge your perspective and encourage you to embrace the freedom Jesus purchased for you.
Victory over sin isn't just a future promise - it's a present reality in Jesus.037 Shining Light in the Dark | How Bigfoot Led People Back to Faith (With Blurry Creatures)
05/27/2026 | 1h 15 mins.In this episode of Everyday Exorcist, Grant and Kat are joined by Nate Henry and Luke Rodgers from the Blurry Creatures podcast - a show that began with conversations about Bigfoot and the unexplained, but quickly evolved into deep theological discussions about the unseen realm, spiritual warfare, and the mysteries most people spend their lives ignoring.
As Nate and Luke have leaned into conversations surrounding the supernatural, they’ve found themselves face-to-face with the very real clash between good and evil. Together, the crew shares incredible stories of divine encounters, unexpected miracles, spiritual awakening, and the ways the Holy Spirit breaks into ordinary life with extraordinary power.
This conversation dives deep into how intertwined the spiritual realm truly is with our everyday existence—and why understanding it changes the way we see faith, fear, authority, and the Kingdom of God.
Ignoring the supernatural leaves believers unequipped to confront darkness—and blind to the power and presence of God available to them right now. Whether you’re new to faith, curious about spiritual warfare, wrestling with unexplained experiences, or have followed Jesus for decades, this episode will challenge your assumptions, stretch your imagination, and ignite your faith.
If you love Blurry Creatures, are fascinated by the unseen realm, or are hungry for authentic encounters with God, this episode is for you.
The supernatural is not dead. The Spirit is still moving. And the stories in this episode may completely redefine the way you see the world around you.
