One year ago, Charlie Kirk was assassinated while hosting a speaking event on a college campus in Utah. In the wake of his death followed a year of political turmoil, conservative infighting, New McCarthyism, conspiracy theories, organized doxxing + harassment campaigns and worse. Curiously, Kirk's likeness has survived via "kirkification" memes which have endured probably more than any other in the post-Covid internet landscape. Today, we discuss all of this plus our personal stories about being in the crosshairs of the backlash.
