He also admitted to embezzling an additional $2.3 million from five other clients during his tenure at GSO Business Management, a firm that served high-profile clients such as Katy Perry, 50 Cent, and Tom Petty.The thefts were uncovered after Morissette hired a new business manager who discovered the missing funds. Schwartz initially claimed that the money had been invested in an illegal marijuana business, but this was later proven to be false.
