    The Black Museum

    04/20/2026 | 57 mins.
Hidden within Scotland Yard lies The Black Museum, a collection of macabre artifacts, established in 1875, used exclusively for police training. Each object--from hammers to hangman's ropes, gloves to gasoline cans, buttons to bayonets--has a dark story about crime or violence. Re-Imagined Radio explores these stories as they were told from four classic radio series: Secrets of Scotland Yard, The Black Museum, Whitehall 1212, and Fabian of the Yard. Radio Romances

    02/16/2026 | 57 mins.
Re-Imagined Radio presents "Radio Romances," two romantic radio comedies for Valentine's.
It Happened One Night, starring Cary Grant and Claudette Colbert, follows a runaway socialite and a cynical reporter traveling by bus from Miami to New York. Coleman is a runaway socialite. Grant is a newspaper reporter interested in her story, but more so in her safe return home. The fast-paced dialogue and charm make this a foundational screwball romantic comedy.
The Philadelphia Story, starring Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant, and Jimmy Stewart, is considered one of the best examples of a comedy about remarriage, in which a couple divorce, flirt with outsiders and then remarry. The genre was popular in the 1930s and 1940s when divorce was considered scandalous and the depiction of extramarital affairs was blocked entertainment morality codes.
