Inside CA State Prison: Keyshawn & Trevor Ariza Revisit the Pain of Their Own Incarcerations
In partnership with LA-based nonprofit Between the Lines, Keyshawn Johnson heads to Los Angeles State Prison alongside NBA champion Trevor Ariza for a powerful day on and off the court. What begins as a pickup game with the incarcerated population turns into something much deeper. As Keyshawn reconnects with old friends from South Central, he and Trevor reflect on their own past ties to incarceration and the paths that shaped them. Inside the prison walls, they hear raw, emotional stories from men still serving time — revealing just how thin the line can be between freedom and a life behind bars.
