  • Episode 280- An Interview with Cameron and Toni Driver- Sing Unto Him a New Song
Hey Burros of Berea listeners! Have I got a treat for you today! Cameron and Toni Driver sat down with me to talk about the exciting music that Toni has been making with the use of AI song generation tools. After years of being a Southern Baptist and taught Dispensationalism most of her life, she heard the news that Jesus Christ fulfilled his promises to the first century generation. From there, the music she was listening too no longer fit her understanding of the Kingdom. So she set out to change that by writing her own lyrics and producing songs through the use of an AI Song Generator not only to listen to herself, but to share with others who believe the way she does. She doesn't just write for one genre but creates songs in every genre to give everyone something they can enjoy. I hope you enjoy this interview and all of the music she has created through her passion and love for the Lord Jesus Christ!Toni Driver's YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@tonidriver1518Please go over and subscribe to her channel and begin enjoying a new song that will bless your heart and give glory to our God! • Episode 279- In Memoriam: Re-Release of Glenn Hill's Testimony
On Monday, December 1st, 2025, our friend Glenn Hill went home to be with the Lord. Today we are re-releasing his testimony episode to honor his memory and to do what he always wanted to do, tell people about Jesus Christ. There are people you meet in this life who leave a quiet, unmistakable mark on your soul. Glenn Hill was one of those people for me. He carried himself with a gentleness that never once diminished the strength of his convictions. Glenn was thoughtful, humble, and deeply devoted to understanding the Scriptures. He sought truth not so he could win arguments, but so he could help people find hope. That was who he was at his core.I had the privilege of calling him my friend. When Glenn came on The Burros of Berea Podcast to share his testimony, I remember listening to him speak with a simplicity and sincerity that is rare in our world. He never postured. He never tried to impress. He just told his story — where he had been, what he had wrestled with, and how the Lord had led him into a deeper understanding of His promises. Glenn believed that the gospel was bigger and more beautiful than most of us ever realized, and he spent his life trying to show that beauty to others. As an author, Glenn gave us Christianity’s Great Dilemma, a work that challenged many, encouraged many more, and opened doors for conversations that needed to happen. He wrote not to stir controversy but to help believers find the confidence that God’s word is faithful and His story complete. Glenn’s writings continue to comfort and strengthen countless people who, like him, were searching for clarity in Scripture. But beyond the book, beyond the ideas, what I will remember most is the man himself. Glenn was kind. He was patient. He listened. He asked good questions. He cared about people more than he cared about being right. He cherished his family. He cherished the faith that carried him. And he had a joy about him — quiet, steady, rooted — that you could feel just by being in the room with him.Losing Glenn hurts. It leaves a space that cannot be filled. Yet I am grateful — deeply grateful — for the time we had with him, for the conversations we shared, and for the example he left behind. His legacy is not only in his book or his ideas, but in the lives he touched, the friendships he formed, and the hope he helped restore in so many hearts.Glenn finished his race with integrity. He ran it with honesty, humility, and grace. I will miss him. Many will. But I thank God for the gift of his life and for the privilege of calling him my friend.May the Lord bless his memory and comfort those who loved him, especially his wife, Lila, and his children. I hope it's a blessing.

  • Episode 278- My Interview w/ TBN Contributor and Author, David A. Holland
I sit down with author and teacher David A. Holland, whose devotional Praying Grace has now reached hundreds of thousands of readers. Many of you discovered him through his appearance in TBN’s Praise on the Revelation in the Past? episode and YouTube video as well as the God With Us documentary, and this conversation goes even deeper. David opens up about growing up in a world shaped by The Late Great Planet Earth, how fear-based eschatology shaped his childhood, and how a life-changing encounter with the message of grace completely transformed his walk with God. He shares the story of moving from shame, striving, and constant self-examination to discovering the finished work of Christ and learning to pray from victory instead of toward it.We also talk about his surprising path to national visibility, the behind-the-scenes story of how Matt Crouch discovered his book, and the theological journey that led him away from dispensationalism toward a hopeful, expanding vision of the Kingdom of God. David discusses his upcoming book Now? Or Not Yet?, his insights into Matthew 24, his friendship with Dudley Hall, and why he believes the church still has a long future filled with purpose. It was one of the most encouraging and heartfelt conversations I’ve had on the podcast, and I’m excited to share it with you.David A. • Episode 276- An Interview with Theologian and Author, Michael Bull
G'day Mates! I hope you enjoy this interview as much as I did!Michael Bull is an Australian author, theologian, and graphic designer based in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. He is the creator and editor of The Bible Matrix, a project exploring the literary and structural “DNA” of Scripture through chiastic and typological patterns that he believes reveal the unified design of God’s Word. Bull’s work blends biblical theology with symbolic interpretation, emphasizing covenantal structure and temple imagery across both Testaments. He has written several books, including Bible Matrix: An Introduction to the DNA of the Scriptures, and operates Bull’s Bible School, which supports biblical education for pastors and leaders, particularly in Kenya. His writings reflect a postmillennial and covenantal hermeneutic rooted in a high view of biblical typology and fulfillment.Visit his website at: www.biblematrix.com.auMichael's Amazon Author Page: https://www.amazon.com/stores/Michael-Bull/author/B003QMK8Z6?ref=ap_rdr&isDramIntegrated=true&shoppingPortalEnabled=true&ccs_id=11c458ad-602a-4685-84f4-c0fa19b70e0dIf you'd like to see this video please visit our Patreon page at: www.patreon.com/theburrosofbereaCheck out our sponsors!Halfback Mountain Soap- www.halfbackmountainsoap.comMy Secret Ingredient- www.mysecretblends.comThanks for listening!

About The Burros of Berea Podcast

The Burros of Berea is a conversational podcast. We study the Bible and we talk about it. Not all of us are of the same faith and one of us doesn't actually have one. We all love one another and are going to continue to talk about these things. The things we believe in and what we believe about what we read in the Bible. Not all of these things are true, some of them are opinion and speculation. Thank you for listening and speculating with us!
