To celebrate the official launch of our first Doctor Who podcast series we're revisiting an old upload originally recorded for our sister podcast, Silver Screen. We're looking at a familiar story with some unfamiliar changes for the big screen: 1965's 'Dr. Who and the Daleks'. Mike, DK and guest Will Templar join the human scientist named Doctor Who, his granddaughters Barbara and Suzy, and hapless comic relief Ian as they board TARDIS and land on the distant planet of Skaro. There will be discussions on Dalekmania, origins, comparisons with the original TV serial, the changes and impact of Amicus' cinematic transfer and personal thoughts on it.
