Football season is almost here. This week, Cole shares highlights from SEC Media Days and explains why his lapel pin collection deserves its own press conference. Katherine heads to Franklin for a sister trip filled with shopping, catching up, and a delicious meal. Then, back by popular demand (Cole's), football trivia returns. Can Katherine answer Cole's latest questions, or will she once again prove that confidence and accuracy are not the same thing?

I bought this tote as a dance bag for Kit, but she insisted on taking it as her overnight bag this week to my sister’s house. It worked great as a little weekend/ spend the night bag. It would be so easy to monogram too! It comes in several cute colors.

Cole kicked off this week by reminding us that kidney stones are apparently his favorite recurring hobby. You’ll never guess the twist this story takes 😂. We also dive into the impossible balancing act of raising kids. When do you let them fail, when do you swoop in, and how do you keep from making everything worse? Then, because we’ve earned it, we tell you all about our dinner at Helen, where the food was so good it almost made Cole forget he’d recently been personally attacked by his own kidneys. Almost.

This week on Tuesday Date Night, we’re experiencing all the highs and lows of family life. We celebrate a milestone for our youngest child, say goodbye to our sweet pup who left a big hole in our hearts, survive another Fourth of July, and somehow convince Katherine’s dad to help build a backyard pitching mound. We also squeeze in (you guessed it) another antiquing trip!
